How We Got Started
In 1996 Corky's Tejas Grill was opened in Helotes, Texas. We served BBQ brisket, beef and pork ribs, sausage, chicken, turkey and steaks. Early morning we served breakfast tacos. On Saturdays we offered a country-style breakfast. All of our dinners were served with fresh home-made bread. The gourmet spices that we used in our restaurant are now being offered to you for that same great taste.
Living in the Helotes, Texas area for many years, I was familiar with an old landmark known as Topperwein's store which was some 50 years old, serving as a gas station, old fashion ice house and beer joint. It was available to rent and that is where we opened Corky's Tejas Grill. My nickname is Corky so it was a fitting name for our little restaurant. I am a chef by trade and have been in the food service industry for over 50 years.

All of our spices are multi-purpose. Use the shop menu to limit selection to the specific meat or vegetables you want to see.
